Dimitrios Ketikoglou, MD, PhD, FESC

Dr. Dimitris Ketikoglou MD, PhD, FESC, is a distinguished Cardiologist Specialist serving as Director of the Coronary Unit and the Echocardiography Laboratory at European Interbalkan Medical Center, Thessaloniki. Graduating from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, he obtained specialization in cardiology from Serres General Hospital and A.X.E.P.A. Hospital. Dr. Ketikoglou has undergone extensive retraining in echocardiography, including at A.H.E.P.A. Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital, London. With over 20 years of teaching experience, he has contributed significantly to cardiology education. An active member of prestigious societies, he has published numerous papers and reviews in medical journals, earning recognition as a speaker and chair at numerous cardiology conferences. Member of the working groups of the Hellenic Cardiology Society for ultrasound, fatigue testing, hypertension, heart failure, valvular diseases, member of the Board of Directors of the North Hellenic Cardiology Society and member of the core of the echocardiography working group.
